Chat; Fanlala and Big Time Rush

We chatted with the guys of Big Time Rush about their time in the studio!  See what James Maslow, Carlos Pena, Logan Henderson and Kendall Schmidt have to say about the latest!
Fanlala: Can you catch us up on what's happening in the studio?
James Maslow: We’ve been working on our second album with some very talented people like Chris Rojas and Damon Sharpe. It’s been a pretty unbelievable experience especially this time around because we’re more comfortable in the studio.
Fanlala: Can you tell us about any of the tracks or what we can expect from this album?
Logan Henderson: There are a few surprises on this album. I don’t want to ruin it so that’s all I’m going to say but I think are fans will be excited to see where we take our sound.
Fanlala: What do you do to take a break during long hours in the studio?
Carlos Pena: There’s not a lot of downtime when we’re in the studio but when we do take breaks we’ll do stuff like call friends or check Twitter. We’ve been pretty good about updating our fans on what we’re up to while recording!
Fanlala: What must you have in the studio with you at all times? Any particular snacks/drinks?
Kendall Schmidt: We all have pretty bad sweet tooth’s so I’d say some kind of candy, particularly sour stuff.
Fanlala: What makes this new album different?
Carlos Pena: We’ve had the opportunity to write more for this album and to really contribute as individuals. The first album was a totally new experience but this time around things are a little more familiar.
Fanlala: Your fan, Alexandra, wants to know...."Do you guys have more fun recording music in the studio or filming the show?!?!"
Kendall Schmidt: I know it varies for all of us but personally I love recording in the studio. Music is my passion but I’m so lucky to be able to do both!
Fanlala: What's your summer anthem?
Logan Henderson: Chris Brown’s “Beautiful People."

Big Time Rush Announce HMV Instore Appearances In London And Birmingham

Fans of the hit Nickelodeon musical comedy television series Big Time Rush, get the chance to meet the boyband stars in person, when they visit two HMV stores to celebrate the release of the UK fan edition of their album, B.T.R, starting at HMV’s flagship Oxford Street store, in London’s West End, on Monday 11th July 2011.

The band will be at the store from 5.30 pm to meet fans and sign copies of the new album which is officially released the same day through Sony Music.

Next up the band head to hmv’s High Street store in Birmingham on Tuesday 12th July 2011 for another signing session kicking off at 5.30 pm.

Big Time Rush follows the lives of Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan as they swap Minnesota for Los Angeles for a chance at musical superstardom.  Since the launch on Nickelodeon UK, Big Time Rush (which airs daily) has consistently rated in the top slots and has been watched by more than 5 million viewers. After proving to themselves and their record label they are serious about their music career, Big Time Rush are ready for the next phase of their personal and professional lives.

B.T.R landed the no. 3 spot on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart last year and is now certified GOLD having sold more than 500,000 albums. The UK version of the album will delight British fans, including 6 bonus tracks and an exclusive poster.

Fans can pick up free wristbands at the participating hmv store which allow them access to the signing. 500 wristbands will be available on a first-come first-served basis from hmv 150 Oxford Street W1 on the day of the event from 9.00 am. Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush (abbreviated BTR) is a Nickelodeon television series created by Scott Fellows about the Hollywood misadventures of four hockey players from Minnesota—Kendall, Logan, James and Carlos—after they are selected to form a boy band. The series premiered with an hour-long pilot episode, "Big Time Audition", on Nickelodeon, on November 28, 2009. Its official debut episode premiered on January 18, 2010, earning 7.1 million viewers, making it Nickelodeon's highest-rated live-action series debut ever. The show is presently in its second season. On May 24, 2011, Big Time Rush was renewed for a third season of twenty more episodes.

Premise

The series stars Kendall Schmidt as Kendall Knight, Logan Henderson as Logan Mitchell, James Maslow as James Diamond, and Carlos Pena, Jr. as Carlos Garcia and co-stars Ciara Bravo as Katie Knight, Kendall's sister; Stephen Kramer Glickman as Gustavo Rocque, a hit record producer; and Tanya Chisholm as Kelly Wainwright, his assistant.
The band is led by Kendall, who initially was the only person offered an opportunity by Gustavo to read the necronimcon after being insulted but impressed by his extemporaneous performance of "The Turd Song." Kendall agrees on the condition that all four friends can accompany him to Los Angeles, along with his mother (Challen Cates) and sister. The series navigates through their antics and schemes as residents at the Palmwoods Hotel and students at the Palmwood School, both establishments intended for aspiring actors, singers, and other performing artists. On the road to becoming famous, the boys routinely come into conflict with their overbearing, shrill, but ultimately caring producer and his well-meaning assistant, as well as Arthur Griffin (Matt Riedy), the CEO of the fictional corporation RCM CBT Global Net Sanyoid, an eccentric billionaire who is forever threatening the integrity of the music division for which Gustavo and Kelly work.
Outside the recording studio, the boys habitually confront by Mr. Bitters (David Anthony Higgins), the Palmwoods Manager, who covets their apartment and continually searches for reasons to evict them. Each episode centers around a problem that the boys attempt to resolve with a convoluted, ridiculous scheme. Instead of fighting with her brother as would a stereotypical younger sibling, Kendall's sister Katie, is by far the sharpest person on the show and often functions as a deus ex machina whose assistance is invaluable to the boy's plans. Many episodes end with a music video-like segment in which the boys sing one of their songs. On the next episode "Big Time Single" The guys must help Kendall cheer up after his big break up with Jo in order for him to get prepared for the band's new summer single.

Biography of Logan Henderson

Phillip Logan Henderson (b. September 14, 1989) is an actor, dancer and singer. He is best known for playing Logan Mitchell in the Nickelodeon series, Big Time Rush and a member of the band of the same name

Henderson was born in North Richland Hills, Texas (near Dallas). He's a friend of fellow Texas, especially with actresses Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. According to the special The 7 Secrets of Big Time Rush Nickelodeon, his companions, friends said he likes to do extreme activities. Logan is the integrands of Big Time Rush performs acrobatic stunts more, it is very athletic and loves his fans. According to an interview the guys from Big Time Rush said Logan was the craziest returning to the fans because it is the best flirt them.

Biography of James Maslow



James David Maslow Burges was born on July 16, 1990 in New York, USA. He is an actor and singer best known for playing the role of James Diamond Rush Big Time, and a member of boy band with the same name.

In 1996 Maslow started rehearsing as a singer at the age of six when his parents made him sing at the San Diego Children's Choir. He studied in La Jolla and Torrey Pines Elementary School, Muirlands Middle School, San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts He had a small role in the Opera San Diego when he was 10 years old. He attended acting in the field of La Jolla Playhouse, got his first agent when he was 14 and in high school played the role of Danny Zuko in Grease and as Marius in Les Misérables. He left the School of Creative and Performing Arts, halfway through grade 10, then went on to Coronado School of the Arts.

Big Time Rush is an American Pop band formed in 2009. The band consists of Kendall Schmidt, Carlos Pena Jr., and Logan Henderson, all in the voice. In 2007, Nickelodeon was the casting and looking for people to be in a new band to be in a new comedy called Big Time Rush. Maslow, sent in his audition tape when his wish was to sing and act. James landed the role of Diamond 2 years later. Schmidt Kendall Kendall won the role of Knight on many others due to the difficult decision to cast it on others. Carlos Pena Jr. and Logan Henderson sent in audition tapes and their were accepted for Carlos Garcia and Logan Mitchell through thousands of other children. The boys have recorded several songs, like the theme song of the same title in the series, "Any Kind of Guy," "The City is Ours", "Halfway There", "Famous," "Shot in the Dark," "Stuck "and someday This is our. Additional songs will be released throughout the first season and second in the series. They released an album and Nickelodeon who recently won the gold album. The soundtrack was released on October 11, 2010.

Big Time Rush had his first concert on June 10, 2010 in Times Square. At least 2,000 people showed up, and the concert video is on YouTube channel for Henderson Logan (Logan Henderson Music). On 15 August at 12:00 pm at Macy's Herald Square, Big Time Rush gave a concert at a fashion show. Biography of Kendall Schmidt

Kendall Schmidt (born November 2, 1990) is an actor and singer, best known for her role as Kendall Knight in the Nickelodeon series, Big Time Rush. Is also a member of boy band of the same name.

 Before Nickelodeon, had a guest appearance on "Frasier." In 2009, he signed a contract with Columbia Records with his band Big Time Rush, along with James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr. and Logan Henderson.

 Schmidt was born in Wichita, Kansas began his acting career at age six, appearing in a television commercial Chex. When I was 10 years old, was one of the three young actors who was hired to be Haley Joel Osment waiting and body double (who shared the same agent) in the Steven Spielberg film, AI Artificial Intelligence. He celebrated his birthday on the set, and Spielberg and the cast surprised him with a birthday cake decorated with figures of Star Wars. In mid-2009 Schmidt was inducted into the Nickelodeon series Rush Big Time as one of the four main characters, Kendall Knight.
