Big Time Rush Announce HMV Instore Appearances In London And Birmingham

Fans of the hit Nickelodeon musical comedy television series Big Time Rush, get the chance to meet the boyband stars in person, when they visit two HMV stores to celebrate the release of the UK fan edition of their album, B.T.R, starting at HMV’s flagship Oxford Street store, in London’s West End, on Monday 11th July 2011.

The band will be at the store from 5.30 pm to meet fans and sign copies of the new album which is officially released the same day through Sony Music.

Next up the band head to hmv’s High Street store in Birmingham on Tuesday 12th July 2011 for another signing session kicking off at 5.30 pm.

Big Time Rush follows the lives of Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan as they swap Minnesota for Los Angeles for a chance at musical superstardom.  Since the launch on Nickelodeon UK, Big Time Rush (which airs daily) has consistently rated in the top slots and has been watched by more than 5 million viewers. After proving to themselves and their record label they are serious about their music career, Big Time Rush are ready for the next phase of their personal and professional lives.

B.T.R landed the no. 3 spot on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart last year and is now certified GOLD having sold more than 500,000 albums. The UK version of the album will delight British fans, including 6 bonus tracks and an exclusive poster.

Due to anticipated demand events will be wristbanded. Fans can pick up free wristbands at the participating hmv store which allow them access to the signing. 500 wristbands will be available on a first-come first-served basis from hmv 150 Oxford Street W1 on the day of the event from 9.00 am. One pair of wristbands per customer maximum, in person only, while stocks last, subject to availability, at participating store only. In Birmingham 500 wristbands will be available only from hmv, 38 High Street, Birmingham from 9.00am on the day of the event onwards.
