Biography of Carlitos Pena Jr.


Carlos Pena, Jr. (born August 15, 1989) is an actor, dancer and singer. It is popularly known for his role in the Nickelodeon series,
Big Time Rush, representing the character of Carlos Garcia.
Pena was born in Weston, Florida, but grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His mother is Dominican and her father is Venezuelan. [1] He studied at the School Sagemont. His first major role was that carried out at 15 in the series ER, in that year came as a guest star on "Judging Amy", Summerland, and School Survival Guide Ned. Appeared in local productions of Grease and Man of La Mancha. He also had a role in the production of American Heritage School, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an actor in Titanic. During his career in Titanic love of singing and dancing. While in high school, Pena appeared in television commercials for the Super Soaker brand (brand water pistols), and his image even appeared on the packaging of the toy.
In 2007, he appeared as a contestant on a TV show called Making Menudo was made by MTV. Pena and his mother were living between South Florida and Hollywood, California, to accommodate his acting roles on television, and was educated at home during that time. He then returned to the Seconded Sagemont and received his high school diploma in 2008. After graduating from high school, he attended the Boston Conservatory.
Pena was studying music at the Conservatory in Boston, when his manager asked him to audition for Big Time Rush. Although initially hesitant to do so, presented a tape to audition and won the role after a month. So, Carlos moved to Hollywood in August 2009
